YOUR PACKAGE INCLUDES:
We set off from Riccione towards Morciano di Romagna where we start an approx. 4 km climb with an average incline of approx. 5% to San Felice. On rolling roads we pedal to Tavoleto. We head off to Mercatale on slightly rolling roads to Mercatale where there is a beautiful view through the lake. After a short break we pedal into the direction of Lunano where there is an approx. 8 km climb with an average incline of approx. 7% to Carpegna. From Lunano we have a “Giro d’Italia-feeling” as we are cycling along its 8th stage.
Arrived in Carpegna, we can decide who wants to do some extra climbing and altitude difference, while climbing the Cippo. Climbing the Cippo we follow the tracks of Marco Pantani who was training daily on this mountain. The climb is approx. 9 km long and has inclines of approx. 8-13%.
For those who want do any extra climbing, continue to the Passo Cantoniera. We will meet all together again and cycle towards Pennabilli and to Maciano. Another climb of approx. 10 km with an average incline of approx. 8% is awaiting for us to Montecopiolo, passing by the beaufiful Soanne lake. From Montecopiolo we enjoy the descend to Monte Cerignone and on mostly flat roads to Mercatino Conca. We still have approx. 25 km left, but these will be on mostly flat roads. Now we can enjoy the tasting bike buffet and the beautiful terrace.
